Las Vegas was the weekend destination for the Border league; the Sierra Vista location. In terms of the overall event; it definitely was high-caliber. Many mainstream services will miss out on prospects that fly under the radar. This is due to attention that is directed toward the more high-level players.
I knew personally that coming into this event, it was loaded with a lot of promising prospects.
Some of the best talent from around the country made Vegas their pit stop. Nevada, California, Texas, Arizona, Utah, and Tennessee was all in the building!
The objective is to track unfamiliar names and faces. Players who develop and create a name for themselves in the near future.
Tracker Radar:
• 2025 6’8 F David Iweze of iSchool: The Lewisville, Texas native display some playmaking ability in the post and also on the perimeter. Iweze is a long-term prospect that’s just scratching the surface.
Iweze’s size and length are legit. He’s also complemented by a strong body frame.

Iweze, demonstrates good hand and eye coordination. What I find most intriguing is his ability to get out in transition and run the floor. Iweze has the potential to be a good interior scorer with rebound ability.
• In terms of North Las Vegas Natives: 2025 6’4 wing/guard CJ Shaw is one of the best premier sophomore guards in Nevada.

In the next two years, this young man’s stock will be trending up. He’s equipped with multiple skills and he plays for a program that is not highly recognized in his area.
Shaw has a natural instinct to influence a game, he executes with fundamentals and technique. He’s equipped with the versatility and a skill set that is very coachable.
• 2025 6’9 Dallas Washington is a California native, who attends Santa Margarita high school.

Washington has the potential to blow up; legit size and length with athleticism to complement his frame is a combination of something special.
Washington showed flashes of a mid-range that extend out to the three-point line. He was also extremely effective on the defensive side being disruptive causing deflections that resulted in easy buckets.
