Maxwell Lewis of Pepperdine University is a six-foot-seven 195-pound forward out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He’s one of the more intriguing prospects that’s trending in the world of college basketball.
Before anyone was inquiring about Max’s service, his father (Robert Lewis) was going in and out of local gyms in the (Las Vegas area) looking for someone to give his son the necessary attention to help Max with the basics fundamentals.
I have been knowing Robert for about 15 years. He does a great job encouraging his son to seek out good relationships. Max has a strong support base.
Robert literally had to relocate Max to help him with his growth and development. I must be honest, Dream Vision grassroots program out of California, Director Clayton Williams played a huge part in the early stages of Max’s growth.

I find it very interesting. All of the scouts predicting Max’s draft stock. He’s definitely a player with a huge upside. He’s a versatile wing that can shoot the ball with great efficiency.
Max can play off the ball and relocate in pick-and-pop action. I am extremely impressed with his perimeter shotmaking ability. The Las Vegas, native displays patience in transition.
From the wing position, Max demonstrates good ball skills as a facilitator. He has the natural instinct to influence a game. As a freshman, Max captured my attention as an athletic lengthy prospect with the ability to score from all three levels.
In recent Games, Max is showing the nation why scouts are so high on him. He’s operated at a high level. In the three games in Hawaii, he average 23 points per game, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. He put together a strong performance against some good competition.
Defensively:
This is where I believe Max has the ability to thrive. Defensively, he’s long, wiry and has good defensive instincts. His long wing span can contest shots on the perimeter. Max create problems for smaller players. He can defend positions one through three.
One thing for sure Maxwell Lewis has an extremely bright future! He will definitely be a steal in the draft.
