Meet Will Garlock, the towering 6’11 prodigy from Middleton High School in Wisconsin, who has been turning heads with his basketball skills and Intriguing potential. At the grassroots level, Garlock, is being pushed by his coaches, who have entrusted him with the daunting task of guarding players across all positions.

As a result, Garlock is blossoming into a versatile big. He is constantly expanding his horizons and pushing beyond the boundaries of his comfort zone.

While he may be classified as a traditional big in high school, on the grassroots circuit, Garlock’s game is on full display, showcasing his true potential at the next level. His unique blend of size and shooting prowess has caught the attention of college coaches across the country.

Moreover, his remarkable shot-blocking ability, combined with his lateral movement and agility, is very attractive for player of his size.

Garlock’s coaches have instilled in him the idea that he is only as good as the players he can guard, and he has taken this philosophy to heart. With every game, he strives to exceed expectations and demonstrate his true worth as a player. Garlock’s ability to shoot the ball at his size is simply attractive to any coach who knows the game of basketball.

I had the opportunity to briefly speak with the rising sophomore about his college recruitment. Garlock shared that Marquette University had recently reached out to him and that he had scheduled a visit with them on Monday.
