Known as one of the West Coast’s premier skilled trainers, he offers his services to a wide array of talented individuals, including NBA players like Jaden Hardy of the Dallas Mavericks, high-level D1 players, and international pros. I had the privilege of catching up with Grant at his third annual THG Jr All-American Camp.

Grant’s commitment to nurturing the upcoming prospects of Las Vegas is truly commendable, earning him adoration from the local community. His patience in training young children is outstanding, as he dedicates himself to serving the youth.

Curious about the origins of his Junior All-American Camp and the driving force behind it, I asked Grant to share his insights:

Karlton Grant: “I wanted to bring something exceptional to our city. We held our first camp back in 2019, with the goal of providing a platform for the best young talents to showcase their skills. Unfortunately, the unforeseen challenges posed by COVID-19 prevented us from organizing our tournaments in 2020.

However, in 2022, I had the opportunity to collaborate with some incredible individuals from the Bay Area, resulting in a successful camp with approximately 80 participants. That same year, we expanded our reach to Los Angeles. My vision is to transform this camp into a premier West Coast event and eventually take it nationwide.”

Grant’s passion for creating meaningful opportunities for young players shines through in every aspect of his camp. With an emphasis on character development, he instills essential values in the attendees. Moreover, his camp offers top-notch services and skill development to children ranging in age from 8 to 15.
