Over the last 20 years, Las Vegas has produced seven McDonald’s All-Americans, a number that speaks volumes about the direction things are headed. But that’s just the surface. First-round lottery picks, pros overseas and in the league, and a wave of high-level talent have all come through this city—making it clear that Vegas is no longer just watching the game evolve, it’s becoming part of the foundation.
This is a new era of basketball. The bar has been raised.
Every player’s road is different. Some had to take the long way—facing setbacks, being overlooked, grinding for every opportunity. Others had the spotlight early, playing on the big stage from day one. But no matter the path, the results speak for themselves. These young men are carrying the city with pride, showing what’s possible when you stay locked in and put the work first.
As one local coach put it: “We’ve got players out here who can hoop with anybody in the country. The world is just starting to see what we’ve known all along.”
This is more than a moment—it’s movement. And Vegas is right in the middle of it.
