Las Vegas was the vibrant host city for the highly anticipated Pangos All-American Camp, where the crème de la crème of the nation’s basketball talent converged under the roof of Bishop Gorman High School. With plenty of nationally recognized prospects taking the court, there was no shortage of Star power in the building.
Amidst this awe-inspiring gathering, one player radiated as an intriguing prospect: Pape N’Diaye, a 6’10”, 195-pound prospect from Las Vegas, Nevada. While his name may not yet be a household one, his stellar performance at the Pangos All-American Camp ensures his ascent to the coveted ranks of the Top 100 high school players.
N’Diaye’s basketball journey is an extraordinary tale. Despite a mere two and a half years of experience on the court and a limited number of games (30-35) since arriving in the United States, his talent has flourished remarkably.

Representing the Las Vegas Knicks on the grassroots circuit, a program renowned for nurturing exceptional players like such as Tyler Bey, who has found success in the NBA and G League, as well as overseas stars like Devon Colley and Nate Grimes. The list goes on to include Orlando Robinson of the Miami Heat, Nick Blake, Tone Hunter, Dominique Ford, and the promising 2023 signee Tylen Riley of UC Riverside just to name a few.
Although N’Diaye’s offensive skills are still developing, he exhibits glimpses of good developing skill set, particularly in his ability to shoot over his right shoulder. His effectiveness in securing putbacks, dominating the boards, and converting emphatic dunks is undeniable. Yet, it is on the defensive end where N’Diaye truly shines.
His disruptive presence around the rim as a formidable shot-blocker sets him apart as an elite defender. With good reflexes, exceptional instincts, an unyielding motor, and active hands, he consistently wreaks havoc on opponents.
While he may currently be flying under the national radar, N’Diaye’s undeniable potential will undoubtedly propel him to national recognition as one of the top 100 players in the country.

Credit must be given to the excellent player development efforts of the Las Vegas Knicks Director and staff, led by Lamar Bigby. Their commitment to nurturing talents of N’Diaye’s caliber is commendable.
Presently, N’Diaye has received offers from programs such as Creighton, Kansas, Xavier, Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon State, and UNLV. It is clear that he possesses immense long-term potential.
Pape N’Diaye’s stock is set to skyrocket even further as the grassroots basketball season progresses. His next stop will be at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Florida.
However, what struck me most when speaking with someone close to him was his character. N’Diaye is a genuinely polite and respectful young man who exhibits a sincere desire to improve in all aspects of his life.
